Contribuisci feedbackPollo Tropical has been a part of my diet my entire life, and I can't get enough of their delicious food and great atmosphere. The menu is fantastic, featuring everything from Cuban sandwiches to chicken nuggets. I highly recommend this restaurant every day!
I typically don’t write reviews, but this place is so disappointing that I felt I had to share my experience. It’s honestly the worst restaurant I’ve ever been to. I’ve tried eating here multiple times, and it’s always the same issue. Do they not care when they run out of certain items? They just fill your order with whatever they have on hand, hoping you won’t notice. It's a complete joke. I’m going to request a refund tomorrow morning for the two chicken and vegetable soups we ordered, which turned out to be just chicken broth with nothing else in them. This has happened to me three times now. Save your time and go somewhere else!
I ordered a small soup and received a large bowl instead. I asked for avocado slices but ended up with an entire avocado salad. I also ordered a well-cooked half chicken (dark meat) but received only a quarter of a chicken. When I went back to inquire about the missing chicken, the cook sent out white meat instead. I had to clarify again that I wanted dark meat, well done, but they still didn’t provide it, and I was told they would have to get it back. Additionally, when I requested two cups of water, I was given two cups of Sprite instead. To top it all off, when I asked for sauces, they only had two options available: curry and tomato sauce. Overall, it was a terrible experience!
Honestly, one of the roughest pollo tropical staff I've ever treated. Even the manager was rude. They were sarcastic when they returned the order. Then when I asked for a refund because I did not trust them to make my food after I saw all the children there and I say children because they?re all a few students of high school laugh and giggling. I wanted to reimburse the manager and asked me what's wrong with an attitude. Then he said they did it the way you wanted it, huh? I told him I didn't ask for a statement that I just didn't want because I didn't dare to eat because I didn't trust the food from behind and I just wanted a refund that he told me to lift up that I wouldn't take up that I would wait until I got my refund. He cuffed and puffed and rolled his eyes and gave me the refund. Honestly I love Pollo Tropicale but I will never go to this place again. Maybe if they were? ve had serious employees there that was not rude and sneaking when they were given me my food or maybe if the manager would? vegrid and said I?m sorry something went wrong, how can I help you not with a posture I would? ve moved up for her to reimburse me or I would? ve cut food, but they must seriously understand what customer services. We? re in a pandemic I understand this, but I can take my money somewhere else and it doesn't have to be with you
This is our neighborhood Pollo Tropical. Let me first state that today s family meal with pork was BAD. The chicken was burned and dry. The plantains were dry. We complained it about it and the chicken was slightly better. The beans were watered down. There were more bean sauce than beans. We asked for more beans and they gave sauce. Furthermore, they did not have water. The lady wanted to sell me bottled water. We said no, so she gave us seltzer water. It was horrible water. Lastly, they had no plates for indoor dining? How can a restaurant not have enough plates and utensils? As I said, this is our neighborhood Pollo Tropical. We have been here since the first day. We will not come back even during the school year. I would rather buy Publix s family meal.
