Sushi Hibachi To Go - Columbia

I'm sorry to report that I had to ask DoorDash for a $97 credit, which I ultimately discarded. I ended up ordering from McDonald's instead. Unfortunately, the sauces were extremely bland—almost as if they were watered down. Even the soy sauce packets had no flavor. None of the three of us in the family could detect any saltiness or seasoning at all. It's quite odd.

I truly love the sushi at this restaurant. My husband and I like to treat ourselves, and they always deliver outstanding dishes. However, this is the second time in the past few years that they've closed without giving any notice. I sincerely hope it's just a temporary issue!

The service was fast and the takeout packaging was good, but unfortunately, most of the food was inedible. The sushi was surprisingly warm, and the fish tasted spoiled. The soy sauce had no flavor, and the egg rolls were overly chewy and stale. I ended up having to throw it all away. Food rating: 1/5.

This food was horrific. I had the steak hibachi and let me tell you, that was not steak. Their yummy sauce was so sweet like icing. The rice didn't taste like rice. Don't eat here

Dingy little takeout place in a rough spot with difficult access if you are heading West on Elmwood. Quick, nice staff.Flavor of sauce below average for teriyaki, but they pulled off the rare feat of keeping white meat chicken chunks tender and juicy, and the veggies still crunchy. That goes a long way in my book and so I enjoyed it. Price high at $12, but it was a huge portion so I'm satisfied. Yum yum sauce more gingery and sweet than most places heavy mayo one. I liked it, but the size tub was way too small for the amount of food, same with an extra $0.50 eel sauce tub.I'll come back and update w more dishes.Update: I've since had red curry chicken, also very good. However, was disappointed in hibachi steak and shrimp, both overcooked and tough, and the basic hibachi flavor not as good as teriyaki or curry. Gonna stick with chicken from now on. Also, note that online ordering has an extra service charge, so call instead.
