I requested extra ricotta cheese, but there were hardly any pieces of sausage—maybe three tiny pieces per slice. It’s hard to believe I paid over $40 for a pizza and received so little sausage. I honestly feel ripped off, haha. I understand food costs are high, but this is just ridiculous. This isn’t the Grimaldi’s I know and love.
As Chicagoans, we know what good pizza should taste like, and unfortunately, this place did not meet our expectations. We give it two thumbs down. The pizza had barely any cheese, and the sauce was overly sweet, which didn’t work at all. The crust was soggier than crispy. We wouldn’t recommend this restaurant for pizza. The only redeeming aspect was the drinks at the bar.
I always enjoy visiting this place. Customizing your pizza is a breeze, and it arrives hot and fresh. I loved their Italian soda, and I'm really looking forward to trying some desserts on my next visit!
The pizza here is fantastic, featuring a wonderfully thin crust. However, after adding a tip, I ended up spending over $40 on a large Brooklyn Bridge pizza. I can't help but feel cheated. I understand that food costs can be high, but come on, Youngs, this is just absurd! This isn’t the Greek experience I know and love.
