The problem with international flights is that you need to get there so early. This time, we came to Montreal Airport with the plan of getting a decent meal prior to taking off for Paris (we have learned from experience that the food at Montreal airport is actually decent). We walked right in to Vino Volo and were immediately impressed by the menu options. We opted to try and share several small plates, all of which were delicious. Our waitress was a little harried at the time of our arrival - as she was the only one manning bar and serving tables, but she gave us the best attention she could. We tried to help out by ordering at the counter to save her a few trips. By the time we left, the place was full and 2-3 more waitstaff were onsite. Our wine flights were excellent, and very reasonably priced (much more economic than the individual glasses). If not too busy, we would definitely visit again when we fly out.
Wine was great as in all airport locations I have been to over the last few years.Fred ( remembered him as I associated him with Fred Flintstone), was a little too "friendly". Stopped by our table too often for small talk. This is an airport wine bar not a nightclub.
It's an airport lounge/resto, so the prices don't reflect the value like they would elsewhere in the city, but it's very decent compared to the other
The selection at this restaurant is very limited and of poor quality. I tried to order the only good old world wine available, but they were out of stock. I was not impressed.
