One of the best clubs in Dungog, the bowls committee especially one bloke is doing a great job posting tournaments and bringing bowlers to the club, as the pollies say, we are moving forward.
This restaurant is typical of the Chinese places at the Dungog Bowling Club. The rice wasn't fried, and the sauces were watery and oily. I suspect they use frozen ingredients from Coles, as the flavors were lacking. I'm very disappointed.
We’ve been coming here for the past 12 months, but tonight we were disappointed. The seafood combination only had three small pieces of calamari and one prawn. The peanut satay sauce was just average; it didn’t have the same flavor as it did a year ago. We usually visit once a month, but it seems like the quality has declined. It’s a shame because the dishes used to be so full of taste and substance.
The friendly locals are eager to share recommendations for interesting places to visit, and there's also some exciting bowling action to enjoy. However, the Chinese food here leaves much to be desired.
