Pilot Travel Center - Dunnigan

Recently I was driving down the I5 south and realized I needed to put air in my tires. It was before 8am, I had no idea what I was doing and as a female traveler driving alone I was nervous. Thankfully with the assistance of Lauren one of this pilots manygreat employees I was assisted and back on the road safely. The kind of service I experienced thanks to Lauren?s help reallymade this pilot my go to!

The Wendy 's that 's part of this location is the worst ever. So rude and the taste of the food the worst fast food we ever experienced. We haven 't lived in California for several years now so to our suprize we had no utensils and no straws for ourdrinks. My wife ordered a salad I ordered a chicken sandwich. There was no signage to tell us in the drive thru that you had toask for utensils and straws. So my wife went inside to ask why no utensils and straws which took the better part of 5 minutes tobe asked if she needed help and she was the only customer. The employees answer was its California law you HAVE to ask in a veryrude manner. Then the employee said so would you like to ask for utensils and straws . I will also be filling a complaint withWendy 's.

The manager is fantastic, and the majority of the staff are wonderful. The only downside was an attempted break-in on our vehicle, and we received a disappointing response from the local sheriff. They only made a phone call and did not send anyone to the scene, and they refused to file a report since it was just an attempted break-in, making us feel like we were inconveniencing them.

This specific Pilot station deserves more than the usual three stars for two reasons: first, the showers are quite clean, and second, the Wendy's here always has friendly staff and the food is typically served hot, which is uncommon for a Pilot Wendy's. Even my fiancée enjoys this location, so it must be doing something right!

The General Manager, Mr. Travis, runs this Pilot like a five-star hotel. The gas pumps feature an overhead display that indicates how long each truck has received quality service. The surfaces around the fuel pumps are paved, ensuring that you won't track oil or fuel into your vehicle. In this regard, this facility operates with an excellence that rivals a five-star hotel. If this is the standard that Mr. Warren Buffett is setting for all future travel facilities, then this is definitely the place for top-notch amenities! Bravo!
