Bangbelly Cafe - Eastport

This place absolutely delights. From the decor, to the wonderful ambiance, to the friendly staff, to the food itself. I could have eaten lunch and dinner here every day we were on the island. We had the chicken sandwich made vegan with the dill pickled fries and the vegan burger. We came back another day and had the iced tea latte. Everything was delicious and they were able to veganize our meal without any difficulty.

We tried to go here for dinner, but they were full and we were unable too. Yet they offered us a lot of help and we got a reservation booked for the next day at brunch. And let me tell you, the wait was well worth it. The restaurant itself is very cute and the music is nice. The waitresses/ waiters are extremely kind and helpful. And the food is amazing!! Specifically the fish and chips and chicken and waffles are extremely good. One of the best restaurants on the island for sure! 11/10 would recommend (make sure to make a reservation ahead of your going at a busy time)

This place saved my life. I have never had such an amazing pulled pork sandwich before, and I have had many. Biting into the sandwich was probably one of the top 5 moments in my life. I will never forget the joy from that meal. I wish I could have it everyday. In some ways, I regret going here because I know I will never have a sandwich as good as that one again. But I will remember it for as long as I live

Came on a Friday in July and even though it was full and really busy the waitress managed to ask us how we were doing many times which we really appreciated. She interacted with our children which we loved and their hot chocolate had latte style art on it so our kids were pumped! We?ve done a lot of cafes and this was their first for that. Chai tea was perfect. Dill pickle fries delicious. Shrimp roll, salad and cod and corn chowder soup were all amazing. A gem to have in Fogo. I hope others enjoy it as much as we did. Great atmosphere.

The best vegetarian food, super friendly staff, and lovely atmosphere. The reusable napkins and paper straws are a great way go plastic-free, and the handmade cushions add charm to this sweet local restaurant. Can?t wait for our next visit!
