Sonic Drive-in - Slidell

The tater tots are definitely worth the trip! It took two attempts to get the chicken sandwich right, but it was really delicious once we did.

I visited three different Sonic locations in Slidell, LA, and unfortunately, all of them were disappointing. My orders were either incomplete or incorrect. The chili cheese tots were consistently served cold, with the cheese not even melting. I usually go around noon when everything should be hot, but that hasn’t been the case. It’s clear that Sonic has declined in quality. There are hardly any cars in the drive-thru during lunch anymore, which indicates there’s a problem. I hope these issues can be addressed soon because I used to really love Sonic!

The French fries were awful. Cold and lacked any taste! The hamburgers always are messed up as far as the condiments go. This order was no different. And the appearance of my burger was that of having look as if it someone sat in it.

I just ordered a chicken club sandwich during my lunch break. The person taking my order was yelling into the speaker and kept claiming she couldn’t hear me. I found myself repeating my order several times, but I shrugged it off. I even left a tip because I usually do. When I got back to work, I discovered that my sandwich was missing the chicken, and the lettuce looked like it should have been tossed out. I’m considering this an $8 lesson and won’t be returning. The service was rude, the sandwich was missing its key ingredient, and the lettuce had black edges. Seriously?
