Great place to find THE BEST Kolaches!!! If you live in the area, y'all need to stop in. Great and helpful staff, as well!!!
During our trip through Edna, we embarked on a donut tour to discover the best donut shop in town. We visited all three donut shops and sampled the same three treats at each location: donut holes, glazed old-fashioned donuts, and apple fritters. Our clear favorite was Donut Palace! The flavors and lightness of their donuts were truly delightful. However, they didn't excel in friendliness, so be prepared to enjoy the food rather than expect top-notch service.
The food is great, problem is they have an issue of not getting my order right... Not everyone wants sausage egg and cheese croissants... Some like myself, prefer bacon egg and cheese. Listen to your customers
The apple fritter was just mediocre, as I could really taste the grease, and the glazed donut lacked any real flavor.
