We made it here for lunch. The sandwiches were really good would definitely be interested in trying out their breakfast. The service was also really good. Employees were friendly and got everything out pretty quick even though it was starting to get busy.
Really enjoyed the rouse Simmons sandwich after hiking around the dunes. Was pretty good! Pretzel bread is really good, roast beef had great flavor and was not stringy or tough. All veg toppings were fresh. Everything was made quickly and perfectly. Decor is pretty cute, everything to do with shipwrecks obviously, lots of neat maps
Locally family owned. Fantastic homemade sandwiches using fresh ingredients. All the various dressings used are homemade also. The place does not look like much and you could very easily drive right past it. Make sure you don't! They're homemade seafood chowder is some of the best I have ever had.
Passing through here, heading to Sleeping Bear, and we LOVE to find little local places to eat. This place was busy, so we figured it had to be good! There is no indoor seating, it's all outdoors, which was perfect for us! The staff was super friendly and helpful, despite being so so busy when we arrived. Everyone was smiling and happy, and they were happy to offer suggestions of the best sandwiches to try out. This place is just adorable! I love how it's set up, and how cute it is! We ordered our food, and got a buzzer so we would be notified when it was finished. We had our pups with us, and even got a small kids sandwich for them to share! I just love how accommodating they were to all of my questions and how friendly everyone was! I found the price to be very fair for the food we got! I want to go back just to eat here again!
