The Phoenix bird pompous name for a small hotel. I don't know the background to the name maybe there was once a fire and a new hotel has risen from the ashes, or maybe the staff are just a little extra fond of Harry Potter and Dumbledore. It does not matter. It was a cozy little hotel in a convenient location for those traveling through the mountain home. We needed a place to sleep for one night before the journey continued to the coast in Western Norway, and when we saw that the suite only cost a couple of hundred Swedish kroner more, we ended up there. A large, beautiful room with windows over the entire length of the room and a view out to the local gas station with some mountains in the background. We headed down to the restaurant and I ordered a barbecue plate. A very generous portion, and the food tasted good. My companion, who I'll call the lady, had a burger that also looked very appetizing, and the food arrived quite quickly. The local beer was also very good after a long drive over the mountains. Especially for two shaky legs like us, hehe. We could digest the food in a very soft and large bed, and there was also TV after a bit of arguing with a cable. All in all a great stay. Recommends all tired drivers to take a pit stop here, and rise like the Phoenix bird the following day and enjoy a delicious breakfast before the road trip continues. Rooms: 4 Service: 4 Location: 4

1 hour and 30 minutes was simply too long to wait for a burger in their restaurant the saddest restaurant visit ever family dinner bacon sausage at Shell, recommended instead Service: 1

Been there with the AIDA. There was supposed to be a lunch . At best, a snack. Butter as hard as stone, bread OK, but in general you notice the cost pressure on the excursions. It can hardly be cheaper. Service: 1 Location: 1
