The server forgot to add one meal of the 5 we had so we all didn’t get our flat the same time however the last meal was only a wrap so it came out quickly. The food was ok for what we were expecting on a holiday Easter everything was closed so we were happy to be seated right away have food!
We came to meet friend and family altogether 6 people hereon Sunday 4pm. Located in waterfront center and parked side street but parking lots are available. You should make a reservation when you come on the weekend. Everyone ordered a beer each except me. I asked for hot water and they brought me lots of fresh lemon slices w hot water. I was very happy with that. We ordered Ribeye stake w scuttlespuds, Lemon baked cod w wild rice, Blue moon burger w onion rings, Dockside cheese burger w sweet potato fries, Cobb salad and 1 fish fried w house salad. All the dishes were served at the same time and looked delicious and smells good. My lemon baked cod was a little light taste and wild rice was too soggy. The hamburger looked delicious, so I want to try it next time. It's a great place to get together and have a meal with great service and atmosphere.
Great beer if you haven't been! +2 stars for beer. +1 for service, other wise food was casually good but not worth $40 for a fish sandwich and 2 beers. Don't get the onion rings, they were soggy with oil. The fish sandwich was great after I added tartar sauce for $0.25. As you can see the mayo was dapped off to the side. Bartender gave great beer and food menu advice, and service was great other then the boy host telling me the patio was full when there was clearly 2 tables open...
I love Scuttlebutt. But the last few times we've tried to go it's extremely busy and gave up on trying to get seated. Finally made it in on a Sunday evening 2hrs before they close and it was still packed. Took nearly an hour for our party of 2 to get food. Cobb salad was as expected but the salmon was tough and dry, rice was mush, asparagus was very undercooked. I personally don't like the beer cheese...it's kinda gross, it tastes like mustard which is very deceiving. Waitress was very friendly, and offered to take the salmon off the bill. I felt bad for all of the employees. That place is way too busy or possibly understaffed? and the food quality isn't what it should be.
The first time here, perfect timing for HH. Had a table for 8 minutes. Hostess and servers were very friendly and friendly. HH prices were reasonable, food was a good business. Our table ordered porcelain, wings, seafood plated, cod sandwich, yacht rolls, reefs. Everything was good, ordered a few beers, didn't have to wait long for food. Couldn't ask for more. Will definitely be back.
