I've consistently enjoyed the food at this restaurant during my visits. Even though I live quite a distance away, it's definitely worth making the trip. Keep in mind that the place is small and has limited seating, plus it could benefit from some renovations. I should also mention that the staff isn't always the friendliest, and the overall atmosphere can sometimes feel a bit unwelcoming. That said, I haven't had any major issues on my visits. You might run into a particular woman at the front counter who seems to be having a tough day (every day), but it’s nothing too serious! The food has always been fresh, and I have no complaints there—kudos to the kitchen! Just a heads-up: it can get pricey if you're dining with a large family. For my family of five, I usually spend around $60 to $70 for chicken and rice.
The dish is quite bland and would really improve with some additional seasoning. I recommend considering a boost in flavor.
I really adore this restaurant! Although it might not be the most upscale place, they serve the best battered and fried chicken fingers around. Whenever I'm in that part of Dallas, I definitely make it a point to drop by. The staff is always really friendly, too!
The food was exceptional! I had the T-bone Mexican style, while my husband ordered the chicken enchiladas with green sauce.
