Starbucks - Fontana

Disappointed because I just moved to this area and was excited for a Starbucks to be opening. I've tried this place twice since they've been open and the drinks just don't taste right. The first time the Caramel syrup tasted like a cheap version of sweetener. It didn't even taste like Caramel. It reminded me of a weird honey like syrup. It was so bitter it made me actually sick and I had to stop drinking it. Decided to go back and get a completely different drink and exact same thing. I think I'm going to pass. Bummer because this is the closest one to my home.

Since the remodeling this place is terrible. No one takes in person orders, you just stand awarkly in the cramped space in the front of the store half way out of the building and the drive thru line is so long. Its no longer a warm inviting place to get a coffee. Half the staff seemed kind and genuine and the worker in the front (Caisse) was cold, rude and uninviting to the customers, other employeesand the man picking up the money. Its uncomfortable to be crammed in the tiny waiting space for 20 minutes waiting on your drink, only to have it come out wrong. They sacrificed speed, efficiency and the customer experience for a store renovation that wasn't an upgrade by any means.

I was excited to see how everything would be after the remodeling because this starbucks is really close to me. Upon going in I was really disappointed. It's not a warm atmosphere anymore. You can't sit and socialize while drinking your coffee. It's not even a Starbucks anymore. It's awkward waiting for a drink when it is packed. I'm not coming here anymore. I'll drive a bit farther to another Starbucks

This location with just remodeled. I was so excited to see the improvements. Today when I went in for the first time since the remodel, it was so sad. It's just a little walk up counter. No seating, no place for community gathering. It did not feel like a Starbucks at all. Oh well, I'll just have to drive a little farther for a Starbucks with the atmosphere that I like. :
