The food is delicious, but I would give it 4 stars instead of 5 because sometimes items are hit or miss in terms of spiciness. I always opt for the extra spicy option. The inconsistency in spiciness levels may depend on the chef on duty that day, but that's just a guess. I can't rate the atmosphere since it is only available for takeout and there is no dining area.
I have always been satisfied with the food at this restaurant! I have been coming here for about 4 years now and Golden Phoenix has become my favorite place for Chinese cuisine.
