Even though we were a large group, he didn't rush us at all. We had a lot of laughs, and the service was outstanding. The food was delicious, and the entire staff was wonderful. We truly had a great time and we will definitely be coming back next year!
First time dropping in. Staff is very friendly, lovely decor inside, inviting. We happened to arrive at Happy Hour, 4 6. Food and drinks were excellent, nice selection of local craft beers. Would recommend.
The food was good! We had dinner at the bar. The bartender was not too friendly. We had to ask for everything a couple times. It is a happening place. They offer many gluten free food. The flavors were great! It is not too close to the beach. It was pretty busy on a weekend. I would recommend to make a reservation. They have an outdoor patio as well.
Once we were seated, we examined the menu, and shortly after, our waitress Anne came over to introduce herself and share the evening’s specials. For our appetizer, my wife chose the Sweet Potato Stew, which featured sweet potatoes, black-eyed peas, chorizo, and kale. She absolutely loved it; it had a slight kick and was both savory and delicious. I opted for the Beet Salad, packed with fresh watercress, red and golden beets, dried cherries, shaved red onion, sunflower seeds, and a tangy goat cheese vinaigrette. It was a fantastic salad, generous enough to be shared—though I enjoyed it all myself! The combination of flavors was excellent, and the cherries added a wonderful depth. For her main course, my wife ordered the Caesar Salad with Grilled Chicken. This was a sizable salad with romaine lettuce, croutons, cucumber, and their homemade dressing. The chicken was moist, tender, and perfectly grilled. I chose the Mediterranean Shrimp, consisting of six large shrimp sautéed in a white wine lemon broth with olives, capers, garlic, spinach, and spaghetti. Every bite was a delight, and the dish was bursting with flavor! I appreciated that there was hardly any broth left by the end; it was thick like gravy, not soupy at all. I was genuinely sad when it was gone. When Anne asked if we wanted dessert, we couldn't resist. She presented us with the dessert menu and some decaf coffee, and we settled on the Tuxedo Mousse. This dessert featured a layer of white chocolate mousse, followed by dark chocolate mousse, and topped with a rich chocolate ganache. A dollop of whipped cream sprinkled with cacao nibs accompanied it. Oh my goodness! It was so delicious that splitting it was a wise choice. The mousse was light yet packed with flavor, and the ganache was decadently rich. It was an indulgent way to cap off a lovely evening. CR's The Restaurant did not disappoint. The enchanting atmosphere matched the quality of the food, and Anne’s impeccable service enhanced our experience. We will certainly return to Hampton to sample more of their offerings. If you haven't visited yet, consider adding this delightful spot to your list. Happy dining!
We had an excellent experience at this restaurant. The ambiance was truly lovely, featuring a cozy bar area complete with a fireplace and a comfortable dining space. The decor and lighting were impressive. Both the food and cocktails were delicious, and the service was outstanding. A talented duo was performing live music, which contributed to the vibrant atmosphere. We definitely plan to return!
