Checkers - Hialeah

Quick service, fresh and delicious burgers and fries! The staff is very polite!

As a child, I grew up enjoying McDonald's and Burger King, but now I can confidently say that this is my favorite fast food restaurant. The burgers are delicious, and there are plenty of other options to choose from as well!

Hey Daniel Rodriguez, I just read your review. If you're going to complain like that, maybe it's time to reflect on your approach. I came here to write my own review and saw your comments. If you were truly informed, you’d know that Checker’s has no control over the Uber Eats or DoorDash apps. They can inform the delivery companies if specific items, like fries, are unavailable, but it’s up to the apps to update that information. That’s been the standard practice. If you’re missing something, you can always request a refund. You should appreciate that someone took the time to call and let you know. Even big chains like McDonald's don’t always proactively notify customers about stock issues. But it seems some people, like you, have a tendency to blame others without understanding the challenges of fast food operations. On a positive note, I think this place is fantastic!

I just got a call from the door that told me the store was from Pommes. That if they can replace with a coke.... what does that look like? I said no substitute for a food like chicken and they said it was more than the cost of the pommes. I told the door that the store ran out of Pommes like that my fault as they have it on the menu as selectable. He said the restaurant told him that in this case, I should cancel the order. Unbelievable. I felt bad for the driver who already went there, so I took the order as it is without the rider. I will no longer order at Checkers in Hialeah Gardens. Bad customer service.

I really like Checkers. Love the seasoned fries but I have had problems with my order several time. Must check bag before leaving to make sure you got all the you ordered.
