We ordered the family pack for $33.95 through the drive-thru, without checking the food at the time. When we got home just 5 minutes later, we found that everything was ruined. The food was cold, the burgers were soggy and seemed to have been sitting out for a long time. The worst part was the chips, which were not only soggy but also cold, almost as if they had been leftovers from someone else's plate. It's hard to believe that the quality of the food could deteriorate so quickly. We were so disappointed that it ruined our entire evening, even making my kids go to bed without dinner. It's not a matter of affordability, but rather the fact that our whole plan was ruined and everyone's mood was affected. This kind of treatment of customers by a large chain like KFC is completely unacceptable. We hope that they show more respect for not only the food they serve, but also for the customers who pay full price without question.
The reviewer had a negative experience with Menulog, stating that it was difficult to contact them with complaints as the phone line to the call centre had been removed and the chat function was unreliable. I was disappointed when they forgot half of my order and when I informed them about the missing items, the manager refused to complete my order and threatened to call the police if I didn't leave. This manager needs to improve their customer service skills.
Ordered over $70 worth of food. For once, the drive thru service was actually pretty quick. Got home and the nuggets tasted like wet socks. I was worried about food poisoning which thankfully never eventuated. My expectations of fast food are generally low, but this went far beyond that. Dinner rolls were stale, burgers were borderline ok, chips soggy and no salt, chicken was soggy, only one drumstick with 10pc, no potato at all in potato and gravy. In short, the worst KFC i have ever eaten. I only complained about the nuggets and was offered replacement nuggets. Yeah thanks, give me something that nearly made me vomit. Will never go to this KFC again and will take a long time to go to any KFC again. Couldn’t be bothered arguing with the manager, poor food, poor service, poor company.
Got an order delivered by menulog. Chips were cold, drink was the wrong one the potato gravy was not even half full. Rang KFC direct they replaced the whole order. Was happy that the food was now hot edible
