Ocean Basket Rosebank - Johannesburg

We have been visiting this establishment frequently. However, based on tonight 's experience it will be the last time for the following reasons: It took 45 min for the food to arrive. My food arrived dry and cool it was probably waiting... The chips were inedible... The waiter and 'manager ' indifferent... Sorry Charles but you weren 't there and it was a disgrace.

Had a great experience at Ocean Basket Rosebank on a busy Saturday evening. The waiter was attentive and portion sizes were very good. This branch has been under the same management for many years and the food, portions and service is still fantastic. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal!

Waited 45 min for sushi for 2 people. Lemon butter sauce was extremely watery and flavorless. Our calamari was over done and tasted burnt : this was not their day. Very disappointing experience. OB is usually fantastic and consistent across all their locations.

First time eating Prawns, Platter for One was a great mix of everything nice. One question: I lost my bank card and only had cash enough for the meal bill I was somewhat coerced into paying for the 10% Tip, is this mandatory or optional.

Had a craving. Calamari. Our waitress was amazing and understood the assignment. Everything came at once as it was ready as I was starving!!!! Yoh. Famished I tell you. Our waitress was friendly, efficient, reliable ...didn't hang around just when we needed service she was there. Great mom daughter date. Thank you! Definitely going back again!
