Got out to where ot should be and almost could not find the place then it was closed till 5pm after the directory showed it as being open. Disappointed enough that we will not waste such time in the future.Food: 1/5
I guess they really don't care about their costumers. We walked in place was empty 2 people walked passed us and told us they are open but never sat us down. We decided to take our money elsewhere...Food: 1/5
Great food and prices perfect lunch spot for a nice lunch! Always enjoy every time I visit and service is great!
My husband and I came here for the first time today, it was honestly a little heartbreaking to see how empty it was. Our server was super nice attentive, the sushi chef even asked us if everything was good. Our assumption is they were the owners, and if so, they seem like great people. Our food was great, started with calamari we each got a crazy roll (so good! we opted to split a teriyaki chicken entree the portions were very large so I’m not sure why some reviews before have said they’re not. The decor layout of the place is just like a small restaurant in Japan so it has the authentic feel.
I decided to try this place out yesterday. Upon arrival, the cook is sitting on the front patio of the business smoking a cigarette in plain sight. I walked in to an outdated, depressing restaurant with only one table of customers. The waitress was somewhat nice, until I asked for a side of chicken to be added on to my daily special. She went to ask the cigarette smoking cook if I could add chicken and he refused saying I was not allowed to modify the daily special. Anyways, I got the sushi special and the sushi fell apart in between my chopsticks. It tasted okay at best. They were kind once I paid and was leaving. I won't be back, there are much better options towards Barrett.
