It doesn't look like much from the outside... or the inside... but the sushi in this little place is delicious. We were drawn in by the meal deals at lunchtime and ended up returning twice during our week in Cologne! Possibly the best miso soup...I've ever had (they add shitake mushrooms), and we had something called the Tiger Crunch Roll which was wonderful. I highly recommend stopping by if you're a sushi lover in the area. Take a stroll around the trendy belgian quarter and fill your tummy with delicious fresh fish!
My family and I went to this place on a Sunday during lunchtime because most other Sushi restaurants only open later for dinner. When we saw it from the distance we wanted to turn around because from outside it was more looking like a small...shop /kiosk. However, as we went in, we arrived in a very clean place with a wooden interieur. Not very fancy, but typical Japanese...The Sushi was very good (for Germany) and affordable. The staff was very friendly, too. We definitely will go again...
Just make sure that you get your sushi fresh made and don't go for the take away boxes
As we hardly walk through this side street if we are at the belgian District, n if we ever passed it by, we wouldnt even think to give this venue a try tho. Its NOT a typical place to dine in and enjoy some nice...Korean and Japanish Food incl. Sushi which you could find in every corner. How should I describe it? Well, Fisch Hof is a very simple little restaurant where at the very beginning only for selling Fish. Now you could also find a small Korean-Japanish Grocery Store. The Soups and Sushi are of course excellent.
