This is the best pizza place in the mountains, in my opinion. They serve the finest thin crust I've ever tasted. It's definitely worth the time it takes to prepare and every penny spent.
The restaurant is very dirty, and the person taking orders at the counter was unprofessionally rude. The quality of the pizza, and everything else, was disappointing. The advertisements for this place are definitely misleading.
I live in running springs and decided to drive to Lake Arrowhead for pizza per my kids request. We walked into a completely empty restaurant. We wanted to dine in. We ordered one cheese pizza for us to share. We were told that it would take roughly 1/2 hour for our order to be ready. I wasn't excited about the prices either. I'm not cheap but 18.00 for a medium cheese pizza is on the high end but I figured it must be worth it. Shortly after we sat down about three separate parties walked in, placed their orders. I saw one of these parties get served their drinks followed by salads and finally two large pizzas. It was at that time I decided to look at the time stamp on our receipt. It had been 52 minutes since we'd placed our order. I walked up to the counter and asked if our order was ready and none of the staff could find our ticket. I asked them if the order has not yet been started then I would like a refund. They scrambled around and low and behold our pizza had been sitting in a box, to go, for who knows how long. They handed me the cold pizza and said here you go. I think they could have at least offered to heat it up and serve us at our table like the other dine in customers. My kids and I were over it and decided to drive home with our cold pizza so we could warm it up. This was an extremely disappointing experience. I would like to note that the staff was very friendly and professional. I think there is poor management at play. I will not be returning here ever again. Recap: Over priced and hardly worth the wait.
Pizza is among the best on the mountain- the dining room is an accidental time capsule from 40 years ago (it was a Kentucky Fried Chicken that lost its franchise after about one year, and then the building was used as a storage area until the pizza place opened up recently)
