Maude's Alabama Bbq (lapeer)

The food at this restaurant was awful – easily the worst dining experience I've had in Lapeer. The ribs were overcooked, and my pulled chicken was drenched in BBQ sauce, making it almost inedible. The cornbread was dry and flavorless, and perhaps the excessive sauce was to blame for ruining my palate. The mac and cheese was more noodles than cheese, which was also disappointing. I reached out to management to express my concerns, but all they could say was that Alabama BBQ must suit my taste. It's clear they don't understand that Michigan is not Alabama – this was absolutely terrible!

I was charged for an extra rib dinner that I didn't order, but it was included with my pickup order. I called to speak with a manager, and a young girl was very polite and mentioned she would contact the owners, but I never heard back. Additionally, the ribs were very tough and the catfish was overcooked.

From the moment I walked in and placed my order, I only had to wait ten minutes for it to be ready. The staff was friendly, professional, and very helpful. The food was not only immaculate but also delicious. Will I be back? Absolutely!

We ordered the bbq chicken flour, ribbed flour and boneless wings. to say we were disappointed, would be an understatement. first my hair was okay, but then I opened my kartoffels and found a big nasty hair in it. next, the ribs of my man were not only fat, but too tough to go ripen. we didn't care about the sauce either. then the baked beans had very little taste and were not at all as sweet as they should be, and after about an hour we were hungry again because of the tiny portions. we are not coming back.

Honestly, I've never had better rib-tips in all my life. They had a GREAT bark, were soooo tender they were almost falling apart. Excellent sauce too, 10/10
