The staff was rushing people to figure out their orders when they have an ENORMOUS menu on their clearly expensive electronic board. The woman behind the counter was asking us what we wanted before she had finished with the customers ahead of us and we hadn’t even had a chance to look at the ice cream flavors yet. When we did finally order, my husband ordered a single scoop of chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream in a cup his standard order most places. What he was served was less than half of what he usually gets at any other place and was melting already. For the $4.75 for this measly scoop we could have bought an entire half gallon of ice cream. My serving of gelato was on par for size but very expensive. The service was pushy, rude, and they clearly wanted us out of there for closing time. They had one small indoor seat that was taken and it was raining so we sat outside under one of their umbrella tables while it hailed. While we we’re sitting there eating, staff came out and closed up the other umbrella table next to us and looked at us like they wanted us to leave. Don’t waste your money here expensive, poor value, poor service.
No one else in line and given no time to read menu board without the person behind the counter badgering us what we wanted. Rude and pushy. Terrible service
We didn’t eat our food it was so awful and left our coffees on the counter and left. Service wasn’t great and this was the worst coffee I’ve ever ordered. I had a cappuccino and my friend had a vanilla iced latte. Both were beyond bad
Perfect for coffee, tea and ice cream, great little place right in the center of town, tasty treats for all.
We stopped here for snacks after visiting some beautiful areas near Camp Hale. We were fortunate to sit outside, as there are only 2 tables available. It is a great view of the locals (and tourists) going down Main Street (Leadville has great views of the Rocky Mountains but, unfortunately, you can't see the mountains from the tables outside the restaurant). It seemed as if this restaurant was packed, lots of people on line waiting to be served. Part of the reason for the long line could be that the staff behind the counter were not very fast, but overall the service was OK. We ordered ice cream with sprinkles, nachos with jalapenos, coffee, and some other snacks. The snacks were good. There are, apparently, a lot of people with dogs in Leadville. At the other outside table, a man with a dog was sitting eating. A lady waiting on line came over and, without asking, tied up her dog to the leg of the table where the man was situated. The 2 people clearly did not know each other. Fortunately, the 2 dogs got along , as I found this situation odd.
