Battlecat Coffee - Asheville

I haven't been to copy cat cafe yet I was reading about it looks like a cool place.would like to go there sometime.

I always thought this place looked vibey but finally stopped in for an iced matcha latte. It was super solid. And the barista was so kind and made excellent drinks. The only thing that held me back from a 5-star review was the space itself. A little cluttered for my personal preference but I think that’s the point of the eclectic space. ??

Edit: I’ve never had an interview with this person? I was just a customer who witnessed the owner yell at her workers on multiple occasions during opening hours in front of other patrons and it was horrifying...many people awkwardly left..but the baristas are awesome! And she should treat them better. They *might* get 30/hour bc it’s supplemented in tips. That isn’t a living wage offered by the owner, and it’s rarely consistent. How you treat people who work under you says something about your character, and the values of this business. Go to Tiger Bay instead! Iconic bathroom and work sold by local artists but I don’t go here anymore because they don’t pay the workers a living wage and the owners treats the workers terribly. This place has been open since 2008 but can’t keep a barista for very long. It’s a small town; doing it like this is a bad business move. Disappointed and won’t be back.

The service is fast, the price is reasonable, the product is immaculate, and the vibe is amazing. Battlecats vibe really embodies Asheville. It’s in a prime location conveniently located on Haywood road with plenty of parking within walking distance. The building also hosts Tiger Bay Cafe an amazing restaurant with a variety menu including vegetarian options. Everything on both businesses menus is made with quality ingredients and an expertise that is hard to come by. This is not Starbucks this is much better. 10/10 would recommend I for one will return.
