Dormirdcine - Madrid

Excellent stylish hotel in a central location with many parking facilities. The hotel has bar lounge, breakfast restaurant and clean rooms all styled with painted walls depicting movies actors. Colourful unique.

Comfortable rooms each individually decorated with a film theme. Good breakfast. Not central, but close to the metro and only 10 minutes to the centre of Madrid.

From the moment you walk in the door you are greeted by huge painted murals of cult films- this should give you a taste of what’s to come. Each room is a different experience but all are predominately white with paintings across the wall of the headboard and on the doors. The bathroom is modern and white with walk-in shower and the basin is outside. Look out for the telephone next to the bed- a quirky touch! Beds are comfortable and rooms are big enough with room for an armchair and desk too. Breakfast is served til 11:00 and is mainly continental with some scrambled eggs and bacon in the hot tray. Buffet area is quite small so you may have to wait to toast your bread when it’s busy. I’d say they could improve this part. I will definitely be returning when I next return to Madrid.

Nos hospedamos dos noches, y la experiencia ha sido muy buena. La habitación, la de Jack Nicholson, era pequeñita pero más que suficiente para el uso que le teníamos que dar, dormir y ducharnos, porque a Madrid se va a patearla todo el día Todo estaba impecablemente limpio. El diseño muy chulo y original. El servicio de recepción muy amable y profesional, de los otros no puedo opinar porque no utilizamos el bar, ni restaurante. Está bien conectado con dos líneas de metro, y muy cerca de Serrano. Sin duda, lo recomiendo!

Habitaciones decoradas con escenas cinematográficas, bien ambientadas e iluminadas, amplias pero algo calurosas, salvo el baño que es precisamente la zona más fría y más sencilla.
