Salvis - Manchester

Seven of us booked a table to celebrate my son’s birthday. Let me say at once that the restaurant was well appointed and the service impeccable. We all started with main courses. Two of us had pasta dishes which were overwhelmingly oily and as they cooled became sticky and inedible. My son chose the fennel sausage main which again was oily and not very enjoyable. Not a way for him to have spent £29 on a birthday meal. To be fair the pizzas were OK and my wife’s risotto very good. The cannoli for dessert were mass produced and dry. Perhaps the chef had a poor day at the office because we had noted some very good reviews beforehand. Needless to say we shall not be going to this Salvi again.

Really enjoyed the food here, well priced and great service. we had the calamari, carbonara and risotto. delicious and lovely atmosphere to the restaurant.

We had a wonderful evening last night thank you we remember a waiter from Gino"s he's wonderful thank u for a lovely night we shall be back!! X

My favourite Italian so far in Manchester the restaurant and decor is nice and fresh service was excellent staff attending to all needs fast and efficient something special about the place food was excellent no complaints well cooked and presented enjoyed our meals would recommend and call again

We were staying close by in the Crowne Plaza and walked by the buzzing restaurant Salvis. We just asked by chance for a table which we were accommodated without any hassle. Great food lovely staff, what a find
