La Piazza - Mannheim

We really enjoyed dinner at La Piazza , we even went back the next day. My husband is Italian and very picky, but he just loved the pizza (and so did I). Thank you for the nice time at La Piazza

This used to be a much bettr restaurants some years ago. It is not my style to dine from plastic place mats on old tables. That is a draw back. Go there for a quick pasta dish. There bread an oil (complimentary) is very good.

Very pushy waiter. The pizzas we ordered didn't come with all the ingredients listed on the menu. They didn't have the wine we ordered, and what we were given was OK, but expensive at euro.

The service is friendly, and the space outside is comfortable, but that's all. I had the awful idea of trying a mushroom lasagna. That was simply a joke. It was basically the lasagna sheets with a tomato sauce in between and some (very few) mushrooms...displayed on top of it. I would do better at home in min. The price was also not corresponding the quality (or lack of). Maybe the pizza is better but I don't think I'll go there again to try, since there are other very good pizzerias nearby.

Just what you would expect from an average Italian restaurant. Food was good, nothing special, we had pizza and spaghetti with sea food. This would not be my first Mannheim restaurant recommendation to friends, as it's your typical Italian you can find in every city.
