Trattoria Romana Wakefield

We had another wonderful special occasion dining experience at Trattoria Romana Wakefield. Our server, Danielle, was highly attentive, patiently listened to and answered our menu and wine list questions. The manner in which the meal was paced was perfect. Not rushed, not too slow, just perfect! The food was incredible! Always consider the specials. We had an appetizer special and two dinners off of the menu. The management comped us two glasses of prosecco for our special occasion. Every employee was cheerful, not intrusive and contributed to the excellence of our visit.

We we’re impressed however we walked in as soon as it opened up,we did not have reservations so we went to the bar to have a cocktail and an appetizer and every seat at the bar was empty and reserved so we could not sit at the bar, so I questioned the owner why are the reservations at the bar the whole bar is reserved how are people post to sit waiting for a table??well he says we have the same people that come in every single night and they reserve their place at the bar YOU GOTTA BE KIDDING ME Who runs a business like that,the bar should be for people waiting for a table not for the same people that come in every single night, I spoke to the manager he didn’t help at all, he really didn’t even care, what I was saying,We will not be returning there ever!!! And I’ll be posting this on 95 on a bulletin board!!

The homemade pasta was very good. The next time I go I will try the chicken parmigiana because it looked amazing.

Better than I expected... I said to myself upon arrival Oh, this is going to be wonderful ! And it was!! My steak was perfect!!

I sat at the bar and the food was great, the cocktail sauce could of used a bit more horseradish IMO. I had the Bolognese Paprdell and it was outstanding. I'll certainly go back when I am in the area.
