Despite enjoying their pastries and coffee, today they provided an unpleasant experience due to the unfriendly cashier who he seemed to treat customers as an inconvenience rather than as guests. The demeanor suggested he was doing patrons a favor by serving them. Such a lack of hospitality greatly detracted from the overall enjoyment of the visit.

Don’t take cash.. which is crazy, staff is unpleasant which seems to be a theme in these reviews. They are so indifferent and curt, it’s rather unwelcoming and the business should take note of the many reviews saying this as it’s bad for customer relationships. The food was pretty good though but there’s better bakeries all over North VA with better customer service so I don’t think I’ll be back

So delicious, I love the cappuccino and the ice coffee. Their pastries look so good.

I heard so much about Paul bakery so I was very excited to try something. I bought a lemon tart but was very disappointed.Soggy pastry and did not taste fresh. Good service but expected more for $9

The best French bakery in the DMV no question. The food is superb and the ambiance is very nice indeed. But the way they guard the napkins and give them out one at a time is nothing short of peculiar for this classy cafe. Parking: Very easy parking in the early afternoon on a weekday.
