Enjoyed all the food. Four of us selected the 4-course tasting menu and chose many different appetizers, first second entrees, and desert. Our 5th guest went for only 1 entree and a desert. All of us really enjoyed the food and drinks. Service was also very good.
Hadn't dined at Barolo Grill for awhile and, frankly, it was a letdown. No more valet parking they have a small side parking lot and there's sufficient on-street parking). The service was excellent. The portions are very tiny and the food, although above-average, is not a good value for the price. With tip, it was about $140 per person included one glass of wine each) and we were still a little hungry afterwards. The ambiance was just OK two tables had men in t-shirts, jeans and tennis shoes). Overall, not terrible but there's no reason for us to visit this restaurant again.
Our favorite special occasion restaurant!! Truly one of a kind. Delicious food, incredible service, authentic, and inspiring in how true to itself it is. I love this Denver gem that's been around for so long and I hope it never leaves. Such a gift to the city.
Among the top (or at least our favorite) few Italian restaurants in Denver. Not cheap, but great food, excellent service, and quiet enough to have a conversation without shouting, even when every seat in the place is occupied. A sort of hidden gem that everyone in East Denver has probably driven past a million times.
