Sincerely disappointed by this experience, on my birthday. The waiters seemed stressed, on several occasions (three or four we were asked what we would like as an aperitif, we had been at the table for less than 3 minutes... I order a flambé cocktail, the waiter serves it and when it 's time to flambé it: it 's a failure, a single leaf of thyme flames for a microsecond before going out. Reaction of the waiter: Ah, that 's how it is, too bad because if I want to flambé I have to start again so it won 't work! . We point out to him that nothing has flamed and that this will necessarily have an influence on the taste, he changes his mind and half heartedly admits that this is not acceptable: a new cocktail will be served with forceps, which is particularly unpleasant. We would like to be advised on wine, the waiter (a year my junior... decides to call me young man , I point out to him with a touch of humor that it is very pleasant to 'to be called young man when one approaches on the same day the thirties. Answer: “Ah yes there you go”. No reaction, no semblance of regret, why not! I am therefore advised on wine and, having solid knowledge of oenology, I realize that the waiter is spouting technical terms (I remember tertiary notes , communal appellation , in particular which he does not understand. does absolutely not understand... we will take a Pinot Noir from Burgundy which remains a sure bet (and which was very good, moreover , without taking into account the advice thus given... in the spirit of the evening , we imagine that “the young man” knows nothing about wine anyway. The meat will be served to us more than an hour after we placed our order. A good taste but nothing more, the 21 day maturation does not seem to have had the desired effect. Let 's forget about forgetting the condiments of one of the guests which will have to be asked for and waited for. Ultimately, for a table of three, we will leave having paid an addition of €270.00. I leave everyone the right to form their own opinion on this last figure and on the level of requirements that it is supposed to imply , in view of the experience described. I am not accustomed to this type of negative opinion being independent myself but I remain revolted by the experience given the price asked. Quite expensive and decent dishes without more... We have already eaten better in the same price range and comparable dishes... Medium sweetbreads. Lobster ravioli not memorable. Ribs ok but the sauce disgusting... Dessert (soft chocolate) and very good Irish coffee! We won't go back there.
