Anna Dont'e - Naugatuck

This restaurant is truly a hidden treasure! We celebrated my husband's 40th birthday dinner here, marking our first visit, and it exceeded our expectations. The food was simply outstanding. All our guests couldn't stop praising how delicious everything was and how skillfully it was prepared. We kicked off the meal with appetizers—crab cakes and stuffed mushrooms—that were crafted to perfection. The escarole was a standout! The Anna Dont’e salad offered a wonderful mix of flavors, and the dressing was just right. For our main course, we enjoyed Chicken Piccata and Chicken Parmesan, both served with homemade pasta. Our guests commented on how tender the chicken was and how well-balanced the sauces tasted. The portion sizes were generous, and we were delighted to have leftovers to take home. The BYOB policy is an excellent bonus, and the overall cost for the evening was very reasonable! We can’t wait to come back. As one friend aptly described it, “It feels like eating in your grandmother’s kitchen.”
