The Caffè By Mr. Espresso - Oakland

My first time here. I ordered a breakfast sandwich and horchata cold brew. I have tried horchata cold brews at other places, but this one was not too over powering and very smooth. The sandwich was good as well, but I’m more picky about my coffee. The ambiance was nice and cool.

Love this new cafe! The vibe is great, inspired by espresso bars in Italy. Excellent coffee for 3rd wave aficionados. The pastry offerings leave more to be desired… pretty looking, but pretty basic. 5 stars for the coffee and vibes :

Their coffee and drinks were delicious! We enjoyed their crafted drinks and bakery. Friendly service. Would love to be back!

Photo: summer special, vietnamese cold brew with matcha cold foam. it is a terrible photo of it half-drunk on the BART, but fitting because this is right outside of 12-st Oakland station. i got this otw to SFO and i am buzzing on the BART. the interior of the cafe is like an espresso bar, and there is plenty of pastries and food (house made sandwiches, prepacked salads on display. prices are ok! i paid $6.50 for this summer special (16oz ice and i think that is just standard california fare, plus awesome that it’s a special drink :• want to try their tiger coffee (thai tea and coffee??? yuuuummm

My absolute favorite coffee shop in Oakland. The rotating menu is always full of fun and delicious drinks (balanced and beautiful). I adore the cortado the coconut cold brew. Please visit if you have not already, you will not regret it!!!
