The fish and chips were beautifully prepared, and the atmosphere of the restaurant was lovely. The staff were extremely helpful, making our experience even more enjoyable. It was a pleasure to dine in this charming but cozy establishment.

I thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Drakes. The service from the staff was excellent, and the cod and chips that arrived at our table were piping hot. It was absolutely delicious!

We got the big cod..bit greasy, but the fish was beautiful and white and cooked to perfection. on the way out of my partner noticed that she made new kartoffel chips and was unraveled she was not ordered.

I have often seen people enjoying their fish and chips outside, but I had never tried them myself until now. The decor is charming, featuring a tastefully done late Victorian style with framed sepia photos of fishing from that era. The service was friendly and welcoming, and the food was excellent – the crispy batter was perfectly paired with fresh, white fish. The sauces on the table were all brand new and unopened. Babbacombe has two contenders for the best fish and chip shop in Devon, and since the main competitor has been closed during peak dining hours, the advantage goes to Drake's.

Nice cod and chips in the little restaurant, all very good and service was very good also
