New York Chicken Gyro - Pasadena

This is my go to place when I fly into Pasadena for work and I need a quick meal after a flight. My go-to is the mixed platters. And when you put on some of the white sauce and the spicy sauce it makes it so much better.

Ordered a chicken and lamb gyro. They were both super soggy and left grease stains on the outside brown bag then dripped everywhere. When I opened the wrapping the pita was soggy too. The lamb gyro was minced and more like chopped burger meat and lacked flavor. The chicken was red and SPICY! It didn't say spicy on the menu (I ordered online) and we couldn't eat it. There was spicy sauce and a white sauce provided on the side. The chicken shouldn't have been spicy.

This was so good!!! we got two lamb gyros and the portion size was great and not too expensive $10 each). the lamb was really good, only critique is it was a little heavy on the white sauce especially considering they also gave a big packet of it on the side. it’s well decorated inside and has great hours. I’ll be back!

The place is very clean, and always smells good. I went with my daughter to eat at this place and we really loved it, the employees were very friendly, especially this boy Steve who was very attentive to everything we asked him. We will definitely return for this delicious food NYS mix platter with drip sauce 100/100

Always good! Just need to make sure to ask for extra sauce and opt for extra meat for the platters to be very filling. The falafel is good too, with nice flavor.
