Õtaka - Ponta Delgada

This was one of our most memorable foodie experience ever. This place is much better than Michelin starred restaurants. Each and every moments included in our set menu was unbelievable. Thank you and keep up this wonderful work of art.

We made a reservation and enjoyed a 2.5 hour 10 course experience and from start to finish we were entertained and blown away by these incredible dishes by very talented chefs. The Japan/Peru fusion with Azorean food is a match made in heaven. We were sitting in full view of the chefs, hard but serenely at work and each dish was described with care and detail by the excellent waiting staff who were brilliant from start to finish, attentive, friendly, knowledgeable, relaxed. Although we didn’t opt for the wine pairing we enjoyed a bottle with our food and I have to recommend the Pico 10 años to accompany desert just wow. You will not regret this experience and it will live in my memory for a long time to come. I wouldn’t change a thing. Thank you for this experience.

Awesome experience with delicious food and great service. Kind of difficult to find via Google Maps. Make sure you go into the alley way coming in from the church/square area with the kiosk on the left and it’ll be the 2nd spot to your left.

Superb food, great service. The benches are too low to sit properly, but they give pillows. All in all great atmosphere!

Fantastic! I don't know about the á la card menu, but the experience menu is absolutely marvelous. Everything is delicious and clearly prepared with great professionalism and lots of love. The staff are super attentive, keen to explain and engage and clearly enjoy working there. If you take the experience menu you get 10 courses for a very good rate and combined with the wine accompaniment it makes a fantastic dinner and evening experience! I can't stress this enough, take the menu and be happy. I'd expect this place in London, Paris, Berlin, not in Ponta Delgada. Kudos to the team!
