Teppan Sushi Teppanyaki - Porto

We went to dinner two nights ago. the waiter tells us that as a vegan we only have the possibility of the buffet and bring it all to the table...in case! they brought us tempura to begin, then a temaki each and later on a hug plate of about 40 rolls (makis and uramakis) for 2 people. we didn't have to ask for more because we couldn't finish it, we left 4 pieces and I ate a lot, but we were full. the buffet does not contain drinks and desserts, but they serve them a lot! good quality! nice service! very friendly staff, even if they don't speak Spanish or good English, but they make really good efforts to understand what they demand. when they are vegan and how to eat Japanese this is her place

Only two vegan dishes on the buffet, but cook made a massive plate of sushi for us when we told them we were vegan. came more than satisfied. cost £10 for lunch buffet and amazing worth

We went to this restaurant for the second time and it was amazing as always. when they say that they are vegan, they will make a special plate with several sorts of sushi, not with the simple pieces just, but made something with love. they serve a generous amount of food for a fair price. even if they have eaten a whole dish, they will ask them if they want more. also nice and friendly staff would give 5 stars if I could

We went so excited for the great reviews we read here and it turns out that this place is not vegan friendly. at the moment when we arrived, I asked about the vegan option, so the polite waitress went to ask the kitchen. we saw the girl in the kitchen saying, only without explanation to the waitress. it looked like she didn't want to prepare a vegan option today. the vegan option therefore depends on the mood of the cook? terrible. I do not recommend this place at all.
