Restaurant Al Wadi - Québec

I was in need of a quick late dinner and decided to try a Lebanese restaurant. Unfortunately, the place was empty and I should have known better than to eat there. The meat was reheated in a microwave and slapped onto a not-so-fresh pita, with a bit of coleslaw thrown on top to pass it off as a shawarma. It cost me 14$ for the mediocre trio, including potatoes that tasted like they were baked from frozen with a sprinkle of paprika. I regretted not choosing to go to the nearby Subway instead.

Worst Experience! The food was terrible! Restaurant was nasty and there were flies all over the place. I don’t know how this restaurant is running with such a horrible service and food.

I apologize for the negative review, but I hope it serves as a wake-up call for the owner. The restaurant has a great location with potential for success. I suggest renovating the space, ensuring cleanliness, and creating a pleasant oriental atmosphere. The food could be improved as well. When I ordered couscous, it arrived within seconds from the kitchen and was clearly reheated in the microwave. The taste was not up to par. I urge the owner to rethink their approach to customer service and make necessary changes to elevate the dining experience. With some adjustments, I believe the restaurant can reach its full potential.

The food at this restaurant was delicious and fresh, and the environment was friendly and cozy. I highly recommend it and will definitely be returning. We each had a delicious wrap, one with falafel and the other with eggplant, both of which were accompanied by cabbage and various other vegetables.

Stay away from this place!! The restaurant is unhygienic and the food is terrible. The server made the food in front of us..cold food that had been sitting there for don’t know how long and microwaved it in front of us, but it was too late for us to cancel the order.We threw the entire food with one bite into it cold , stale, tasteless food!! $45 for two rolls was too expensive but definitely cheaper than our health!!
