Ports Cafe - Geneva

It's a bit of a drive for us to visit ,but we do it. The food is always perfect, the menu is large and the staff is amazing. We constantly recommend Ports to all our friends and family. Pros Food Staff Fair prices Variety menu Cons Being so close to the water you'd hope it had a view, but it doesn't. Parking is tight. Does get a bit loud when busy.

Mixed experience here but absolutely will not return and I would not recommend this restaurant either. Our steak was cooked perfectly and the potatoes were some of the best that I’ve had. The chef is truly top notch. Unfortunately the service was detestable at best. We arrived and were seated promptly in a small area with 6 tables. Our server had 3 tables and another server had three tables. Although we arrived first the other three tables had finished eating before our order was taken. We ordered drinks and our server informed us that they were out of Tito’s, but could make the drink with another vodka, she did not tell us there was an up charge for this nice vodka, that was a surprise on the bill. We were there for a little over two hours, and while we were there we seen two tables walk out (assuming due to the wait) and one gentleman walked across the room screaming for his check because he had been forgotten. Either the restaurant needs to hire adequate staff or the staff need to prioritize better with transparency.

Food and service were outstanding! Amazing how such a small kitchen can serve so many at that level. Prices were very reasonable for high level dining. Recently ate here again on August 29th, 2024 and the food and service were as great as ever! I had the Fried cauliflower appetizer followed by the sesame crusted bluefin tuna and my wife had the fried green tomato appetizer and the pan roasted halibut entree. We shared a churro cheesecake for desert. Everything was excellent.

Food was undercooked sent it back and the same was served again .the place has potential but bad service .i dont blame the waitress , she was nice but i think she had too many tables , had to wait long everytime for her to come . The vibe is good but the food and service was bad

Came to Ports Cafe on a Bachelorette weekend, Jasmin was our waitress and was absolutely fabulous!! Super patient with us and accomodating! The vibe and the food were incredible!
