We visited Artigiano on a wet and rainy evening,our last night in Rio. The warmth of the place,the wood fire and the aromas of Italian food greeted us as we step in from the rain. Our waiter was pleasant. He suggested a wine,Maycas Limari Syrah which was well priced and complimented our meal.Hailing from South Africa we do enjoy our wines. The spinach ravioli was a little overpowered by the gorgonzola. The lamb shank went well with the egg noodles. Meals are served under cloches. Adds to the ambiance of the venue. no Wi fi but that is great when one is having dinner. Service was good. Booking essential.Cash only

We visited artigiano on a wet and rainy evening, our last night in rio. the warmth of the place, the wood fire and the aromen of the Italian kitchen welcomed us as we come from the rain our waiter was pleasant. he proposed a wein,Maycas limari syrah, who was good value and complicated our eating. hailing from South Africa we enjoy our wee of spinat ravioli was a little exaggerated by the gorgonzola. the lamb was well served with the egg noodles the meals are served under pale. added the ambiente of the venue is not wi fi, but that is great when you were serving dinner well. only cash
