Don 't be afraid to ask to try a flavor or two before ordering! The price is a bit higher than other places (and price goes by the flavor selected as well as the amount) but the cone is superior to the cheap cone at most places. They also offer coffee and different types of sundaes. There are a few tables on the side of the building and a few bean bag chairs as well. So good that even the local police stopped for a cone while I was there!
We've been eating gelato since we've been to Germany and Austria for 2 weeks. We try lemon and strawberry gelato every time and we believe this place was the best! Zircon was very tangy and very creamy. Strawberry was also very creamy but it was little bit too sweet for me. The nice thing is that they'll let you sample them as well. Don't hesitate to ask for it before you order!
Cheaper then most ice cream shops in Salzburg. Pretty basic flavours, nothing which stands out exceptionally. However, ice cream is ice cream. This place also had a great playlist going
4.5 stars really as this is not the very best ice cream I've ever had, but it is very good, extremely creamy and fresh, interesting flavors. Well located in the center of town on a walking street with fountains great for keeping kids occupied. The portion size is huge! The price is only around 1.50 euro per scoop, so I expected a small portion. I let my kids get 2 scoops each but one scoop is more than enough. Dairy free fruit flavors and sugar free options. Friendly service at the counter.
Lovely ice creams, simple flavors and priced well.. We tried salted peanut caramel and cookies and cream ice cream and they were both too good. Must must eat!!
