Rudy’s Mexican Presidio

My favorite Mexican restaurant in Santa Barbara! I find myself craving their food and salsas all the time. My usual order is the shredded chicken burrito with plenty of green salsa, but honestly, everything on their menu is fantastic. The atmosphere feels cozy, the food is always reliable and consistent, and the staff is really friendly. Plus, the food comes out quickly. It's fast casual dining but incredibly delicious. They have several locations throughout Santa Barbara.

Tres Amigos burrito was absolutely delicious. Very fresh ingredients, cooked perfectly and very tasty sauces and generous portions. Wit be coming back for sure!

The portions are generous, so come hungry! The prices are very reasonable given the size of the dishes, and the complimentary salsas at the salsa bar are an excellent bonus. The food is fantastic! For just $1, you can get a large basket of perfectly salted chips, which is a great deal. Be sure to sample their specials in addition to the classic dishes—they're definitely worth a try!

Went here with my boyfriend last night right before they were about to close and I'm definitely glad we stopped by. We were debating between Los Arroyos and Rudy's and I'm really happy we chose Rudy's. Everyone working there had a positive attitude and knew everything about the food they were serving. You would think that they'd be frustrated when they see two people walk in their restaurant 10 minutes before they're about to close, especially right after a full day of people eating there during fiesta week, but they were happy to welcome us in and tell us about the food they were serving. This was my first time eating here and we ordered the nachos (they highly recommended it . They brought it to us within minutes of ordering it and we finished it really quickly. Our waiter, Dianna, also did a great job serving us and was very friendly to us. I highly recommend trying this place out if you're in Santa Barbara :

Amazing food and wonderful staff. Family owned and operated. I have been enjoying Rudy's since I was a teenager. I'm now 35 and still love the food and the warm welcome from the staff. My sister visits from Hawaii twice a year and every time, Rudy's is a must.
