For drinks we had Moscow Mule, Pomegranate Margarita, Baja Michelada and Red wine. The pomegranate Margarita is very unique. We ordered Nachos and Guac and Habanero Wings for starters. Guac was yummy and Wings was the best fully cooked and the flavors just fill the mouth with every bite. For main course we had Fish Tacos and it was delicious.
I absolutely love the atmosphere of this place! I visited for a late-night dinner and drinks and was blown away by the margaritas—definitely a must-try. The food was delicious as well. Just a heads up, the kitchen closes at 10:30 PM. The restaurant stays open until 2 AM on Thursday and Saturday nights, but on other nights, it closes at 12:30 AM.
The restaurant boasts a wonderful ambiance, quick and friendly service, and extremely fresh food. I gave it four stars primarily because the flavors didn't quite captivate my palate. The Habanero Wings were overly salty and lacked the heat I expected, while the BBQ wings were a bit too sweet for my taste. On the positive side, the wings were cooked to perfection, with just the right amount of crispness. Unfortunately, the grilled fish taco arrived a bit soggy, and the fajitas fell short in terms of flavor. While the cooking and presentation were done skillfully, they didn't deliver the taste I was hoping for. The bar for Mexican cuisine is set quite high, and for a dish to truly stand out, it needs to excite the taste buds. I may consider returning, but if you’re looking for a charming spot for a romantic Mexican dinner date, this place is definitely worth it for the ambiance.
The cheese on top of the burrito was too crispy to enjoy, so it didn't really enhance the flavor. However, overall, it was still a very good burrito. I also had the steak fajitas, which were a fantastic, spicy dish. I would definitely come back to this restaurant.
All I wanted that evening was to unwind in a vibrant atmosphere while enjoying some Mexican food, and this place delivered on both fronts. Perhaps it’s because I fit their target demographic, but there was something special about listening to the Smashing Pumpkins while enjoying my tacos. I left feeling both satisfied and content. A quirky side note: although I didn’t eat a lot, the dough they use for the enchiladas surprised me by expanding in my stomach. I felt full well into the next day! I'm definitely planning to return.
