O Minhoto - Almeirim

I went to lunch in Minhoto with a group of 5 friends. As you would expect, we ordered the famous Stone Soup in the region, which I confess to having eaten better in other neighboring restaurants, had lots of potatoes in small cubes and little meat. For the main dish, we ordered roast chicken, meat from the slaughter and veal, to share and it wasn't bad at all, especially the meat from the slaughter which I recommend. We paid around €70 for 6, with drinks and coffee. It's not bad, but it makes it reasonable.

We were waiting 50min until the waiter came. Then they served only 3 from 4 dishes and the fish was row. The fruit as dessert was old. A very sad and discusting evening.. NEVER again!!!!

This restaurant is well managed and serves excellent meat and very good fish. It is simple and unpretentious. I have been a patron the last fourty years, and the place is now better than ever. Sopa da Pedra is really good. Prices are fair. Go early. Or late. It gets busy and crowded. The staff and management can only do so much when hundreds of starving families assault the doors, all craving their fix of red bean soup and heavenly hot bread.

A comida estava boa a nível de sabor mas estava um pouco fria. Éramos 12 e a comida veio a conta gotas, quando os últimos a serem servidos começaram a comer já os primeiros tinham comido. O pessoal era simpático e prestável

A comida foi excelente. a sopa de pedra era muito bom e a sugestão do prato principal (sitted com bacon e porco) também! o serviço foi muito bom. Eu recomendo.
