Parker's Bistro - Sioux Falls

Parker's Bistro is top notch! Excellent service, amazing food we were lucky enough to get to have live music while dining from the Weiland family plus Dan Mahar. What a treat! Parker's is an upscale restaurant with delicious food kind employees. I highly recommend!

Our dinner at Parker’s Bistro was outstanding. We started with a delicious shrimp appetizer, pan seared shrimp with a medium spicy scampi style sauce (so so good , that was a “special” and not on the regular menu. Dinner for us was Steak Diane and Lamb ragu. Both were perfectly prepared. We’d happily return, regularly, if we lived closer. Shout out to our fantastic server, Rachelle (sp? , who expertly guided us through our course choices. Highly recommend.

Chef Andrew prepared my Filet Diane perfectly!! I was hesitant about the sides that came with the meal but I was very surprised and pleased! The service was very friendly and knowledgeable when asked about different items on the menu. My husband and I had a FIVE STAR experience!!

Great place to eat, especially for special occasions. It's nice that the menu changes once in a while.

This review is solely about the food. I have never been to Parker's before but have always heard amazing things so when two of my colleagues from Rapid City came from out of town, we decided to go there. I ordered the Steak Frites medium because I was craving some red meat. What I got was the most well done steak I've ever had without an ounce of pink inside and the fries were cold, hard, and basically inedible. My two colleagues were enjoying their scallops and since it had taken so long for the food to arrive, I shuddered to think how long it'd take to get a replacement if I sent the food back...especially since it was getting late and I was eager to get home to put my two kids to bed. So being midwest nice I ate 3/4 of the steak and maybe 5 fries. I've had better steak at Ruby Tuesday and I feel like I was robbed of $45 for the worst meal on the menu. : At least our server was nice and the green couch was comfy.
