Sushi Runner South Miami

I had a very disappointing experience with the customer service. It took three phone calls before anyone picked up. When I finally reached someone, I explained that my order had been messed up twice. The man I spoke with informed me that although the restaurant was responsible for preparing the food, it wasn't their concern. He told me I needed to contact Grubhub to resolve the issue. There was a clear lack of accountability on their end. However, I have to say the food was still excellent, which is why I'm giving them a one-star rating.

I was disappointed with the eel lovers combo. The Citrus Poke Bowl seemed interesting at first, but the mango chunks didn't taste or look like real mango, and there were far too many slices of red onion! To me, it just didn’t feel like a true poke bowl. As for the Thai donuts, they might have been enjoyable if they had come with condensed milk, but we ended up with dry donuts. Overall, the entire meal was lackluster and way too expensive.

5 Stars. The sushi here is amazing, and the prices are fantastic. Be sure to take advantage of the Thursday promotions, where you can get a 50% discount on rolls for dining in. I highly recommend the Volcano and Franchise rolls!

Must try this hidden gem! I wish Sunset Mall did not more to promote this restaurant. Best Sushi I ever had.

Worst poke bowl i've ever had. not traditional at all. spicy tuna was discolored. pickled jalapeños not traditional . not horrible but very much NOT traditional poke .. go to poke Og
