Old Town Fish And Kebab House

We used to love it’s all sort of kebab. I am not sure if management has changed or what, Today I got a Shish kebab. I was too hungry to take it back. The kebab was not as good as it used to be. The pita beak was like a rock! Old and not-chewable. I managed to eat the kebab having my own break. The pita break went right into my rubbish bin.

Went on my way home after a few sherberts. granted not a wise decision, but couldn’t be bothered with the hassle of bingol at this time. Got a chicken kebab, what was a shock to me as it is the only chicken kebab I’ve seen in Stevenage. Got home tried it and it tasted like spag bowl, I know I’ll feel like sh*t in the morning. 1.5/10 never again. Service is alright tho.

The service at this place is brilliant. It’s really easy to phone up and order. The food is always good quality. Their chips are brilliant!

Food is okay but I had to wait over an hour for my delivery to be missing multiple items. I called was out on hold for 5 minutes and then waited 30 minutes for my missing food to arrive. AVOID!!

Received deliveries (always late) and collected from here a few times. The kebabs have always been nice, good selection of salad etc.. but the chips ....... Tonight we received a cold bag of brown soggy chips, previously when we’ve ordered meat on chips the chips have been so pale and tasteless and some would argue they weren’t cooked. Fried chicken dry. Portion size will often depend on who’s serving. Stevenage has slim pickings on nice takeaways so I’d say will likely order again when at a loose end, but on collection only
