Goi - Stuttgart

I cannot share the experience of the previous reviews. To me, GOI is one of the best restaurants in Stuttgart. I have been there regularly over the past ~10 years and have never been disappointed. Try the soups or the specials.

I used to go here fairly often when I lived in Stuttgart but was very disappointed when I came back during a visit this year. The staff was unfriendly, the food average and arranged poorly on a plain white plate. Value for money is ok. Interior design clean and modern. Might be ok for a quick lunch break but not for a nice dinner with friends.

The guy who has taken the order wrong and served some other food.When e called him and asked is this menu 36?He said no no.its my mistake.Sorry.Then he started telling...Any way i have to throw the food away.Will it be ok to you to eat it. like he please.But really i was about to order some other food..After showing my face angry..He said no need to pay for it.he is the one who used to collect money from all the customers.But he send other lady with good tactics.Then some of my German friend told to that lady.menu is wrong.he no need to pay.Then I paid for my cola.Then that lady throw the money like any thing.When I gave 20Euro.Really stupid.Normally the service in here was very friendly and attentive, now it seemed more like a factory where to feed the people as fast as possible.Not good.

When I was living in Stuttgart for several months I used to visit this nice stylish restaurant between 2 and 3 times per week. It was always a very beautiful decorated and friendly place. After I moved away from Stuttgart I took the chance to visit the restaurant again and it was catastrophic. The atmosphere has totally changed, the furniture and equipment is in a bad state, the open visible preparation and dishwashing area is not appealing at all. Normally the service in here was very friendly and attentive, now it seemed more like a factory where to feed the people as fast as possible. We were served at our table from thy guy who does the dishwashing in his normal working clothes… Sadly enough, for me this was the last time here even when the pricing still is competitive.

It´s a quite stylish restaurant, but simple, fast, and very authentic. I simply love the GOI. my favorite asian restaurant. Try the sate/peanut/skewers.
