Barrydale Karoo Lodge - Swellendam

Barrydale Karoo Lodge is absolutely the best! Two nights in this gem. Reception team was extremely helpful and friendly. They went beyond and beyond to see that we feel comfortable during our stay. The rooms are spacious, clean and very relaxing. Art and furnishings of rooms are from this world. We had lunch at the resturant over the street and watched Rugby in the pub nearby. Walking distance from Lodge. Value for your money. Thank you. Barrydale Karoo Lodge.

That was a fantastic night for us. Friendly hospitality and a flawless clean and comfortable room. An excellent breakfast was included in an already reasonable room rate. We felt most welcome and will definitely go back.

Nice mattress. Very friendly staff. I was a little uncomfortable iro my car's security. We slept dead-to-the-world. Thank you.

Thank you for a wonderful weekend! Arrived Friday, departed Monday, 2 rooms. Beautiful, relaxing, clean, friendly staff. Breakfast tops. Rooms beautiful with all necessary amenities. Bar to die for! Only one suggestion: duplicate room keys for ease of access to staff. Recommended: Yes! We will definitely stay with you in future. Please don't stay here if you need a good nights rest. Other guests are very inconsiderate. It seems like they are having a party in the passage and no one can sleep. Talking so loud until 2h30 in the morning.
